NADIA NELL STARBINSKI: AUTHOR, POET, STORYTELLER
Nadia N. Starbinski is an author and creator based in the Greater New York area. Born and raised just outside New York City, in Northern New Jersey, she has always been drawn to stories - in notebooks, on stages, and across screens. What began as scribbled poems in childhood journals eventually found a global audience through Tumblr, where her raw, honest writing struck a chord with thousands.
In 2017, she self-published her debut poetry collection, Excerpts from the Book I’ll Never Write. The collection, filled with raw, evocative pieces, was met with widespread enthusiasm, cementing her place as a rising voice in contemporary poetry. Inspired by the success of her debut, she published her second collection, Rip Tides, the following summer. Her work explores themes of loss, longing, and the complicated beauty of becoming. She is currently working on a third collection rooted in family, forgiveness, and emotional inheritance, slated for release in 2026.
Beyond her literary pursuits, Starbinski channels her creativity into producing content for various digital platforms. With a background in journalism and marketing, she lends her voice and visual eye to local businesses and fellow creatives - offering freelance content creation, social media support, and storytelling strategy.
Today, Starbinski resides in Jersey City with her husband, Ryan, and their two rescue dogs.
